I decided to wrap up the year with a special Christmas gifts giveaway. It might be a bit early to say Merry Christmas, but as I would like to say a heartfelt Thank You to all of you who read my blog and newsletter, I publish this post a bit earlier. I want to make sure that you receive my gifts on time before the holiday break.
I love books, and they are not only nice to touch and feel but also valuable gifts with longevity. As I know that downsizing is associated with a lot of questions and considerations, I thought this little book by Colin Wright, called Considerations, makes a perfect addition to my practical style guide Downsize with Style. As the author says on the cover "this book doesn't contain any conclusive, absolute truths, just a lot of considerations," you will find a selection of thoughts and perspectives on life and how they influence your actions.
Keep it on your bedside table for a daily dose of inspiration and motivation to face the (downsizing) challenges and everything else that life throws at you in 2017. Or, give it to someone you love to inspire them to look at life from a different perspective next year.
What do I have to do to enter the draw?
For your chance to win, leave a comment below why you would like to start the New Year with these two companions – sorry, the Santa is not included – and how they would enhance your life. I will contact the lucky winner on Monday, the 12th December 2016, after lunch time.
I hope you will enjoy these books as much as I do.
The lucky winner of the book pack is Simone. Congratulations!

Your course ‘Downsize with Style’ has been so helpful. I thought I had things under control but the information provided was so thought provoking, looking at the task from a different perspective. It’s an understatement to say the course has improved my life. Thank you!
Thanks, Meg, for your kind words. I am glad you found value in my online course. Good luck with the competition!
We are moving from a suburban 3 bedroom home to a city apartment in Adelaide in April 2017, we shall have to do a lot of serious ‘down sizing’ to fit into the smaller area.
Best wishes for Christmas and the new year.
Hi Patricia, Merry Christmas to you, too! And good luck with the downsizing journey. The earlier you start, the easier it will be. Check out my library of free tips and resources: http://www.bdcolourdesign.net.au/tips-resources/
Bettina thank-you for your book (which I loved when I borrowed it from my local library) and your regular newsletters. They have been a source of inspiration to me over 2016 as I continue to make space to breath in my small home. In 2017 I would treasure my own copy of Downsize With Style along with Considerations. I am aware of Colin but am yet to be introduced to his writings. Have a wonderful Christmas and thanks again for sharing your unique talents with the world.
