Are you planning to downsize this Spring? Get ready now and stay organised along the way.

Downsizing 101 is a new workshop for empty nesters, planning to downsize, and apartment owners, who moved already in a more compact space. The next workshop will be on Sydney's Upper North Shore on the 16th June 2015.

De-cluttering is one of the major challenges for most people, and there is never a better time to start de-cluttering your home than right now - even if you are not moving or downsizing yet. Getting rid of physical clutter will free up your mind and create space to concentrate on the important things in your life.

Downsizing 101 is a workshop for people, who struggle to get started and take the first step on their downsizing journey. You will learn strategies to sort out all your clutter and stuff, to prioritise what to keep and to stay organised and in control along the way.

Discover three proven strategies to achieve a stylish and functional home in a more compact space.

You will learn

  1. How to become more productive through storage optimisation
  2. How to avoid costly mistakes through space planning
  3. How to simplify your life through de-cluttering and start living a more meaningful life

I lived many years in apartments in Germany and had my first crash course in downsizing when I had to move from a huge penthouse to a tiny studio apartment with only one room. I remember myself sitting between boxes piled up under the ceiling and wondering how I am going to get all my stuff in this tiny space. I started to sort out my boxes, got rid of different items that did not fit, transformed two antique pieces into storage units for my clothes. I also used an open shelf as a room divider between my tiny kitchen and dining table. With a practical approach, I created a cosy and stylish home in a tiny space. After moving to Sydney, I studied colour and design to improve my interior design and styling skills. So follow my three strategies to get a head start on your downsizing journey!

[blockquote align="center" variation="purple" cite="Brenda, Castle Hill"]I enjoyed attending Bettina’s Downsizing 101 workshop as it helped me to focus on the essentials of downsizing. Her methodical presentation was most helpful and gave me ideas on how not to make costly mistakes, and I now have an achievable plan of action. I was especially grateful that Bettina was willing to hold the workshop in the Castle Hill area making it more accessible. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who is considering downsizing, as I believe it is a good investment. [/blockquote]

Please join me on the 16th June in St. Ives.
